The United States flag should be displayed, from sunrise to sunset, on all days when the weather permits, especially on the following:

New Year's Day January 1st
Martin Luther King, Jr.'s Birthday 3rd Monday in January
Inauguration Day January 20th
Lincoln's Birthday February 12th
Presidents' Day 3rd Monday in February
Washington's Birthday February 22nd
Easter Sunday (Variable)
Armed Forces Day 3rd Saturday in May
Last Monday in May Memorial Day Observed
(half-staff until noon)
Flag Day June 14th
Independence Day July 4th
Labor Day 1st Monday in September
Patriot Day September 11th
Constitution Day September 17th
Columbus Day 2nd Monday in October
Veterans Day November 11th
Thanksgiving Day 4th Thursday in November
Pearl Harbor Day December 7th
Christmas Day December 25th
