eBay Security Breach

Yesterday, eBay released a statement indicating a large scale data breach compromised information about its users. Some of the data stolen included weakly encrypted password information of over 145 million eBay users.

eBay has asked all users to immediately change their eBay login password & to any other location in which the same login password was used.

If you have not rotated your eBay & other passwords in while, you should take a few moment to change them.

TIP: Remember to rotate your login passwords every 90 days for maximum protection of your account data.  And never use the same password with multiple sites/services; to help mitigate the effects of a compromised password (such as with the eBay security breach above.)
